We are deep specialists in our fields. We have written books, articles and papers on our areas of expertise, and we are regular facilitators at workshops and events.

We are on the NZ 'All of Government' consultants panel, and have been vetted and assessed before being invited to be on their panel. This helps with procurement. See who we've worked with:

We Care

We care about our work and our relationships. We also care about our environment, and do pro-bono and reduced rate work where we feel we can make a difference.

We are experts in our fields

We have spent decades learning about what works and what doesn't work. We have held numerous roles over the years, including people leaders, thought leaders, line managers and senior leaders in organisations.

We've been in your shoes and understand your world.

We know what it takes to deliver - the practices, methods, tools, and approaches that are not just hype but actually make a difference.

We've written lots of stuff, including strategies, articles, books and whitepapers. Information developed for clients cannot be shared, but some can be shared and are listed on our resources page.

In addition to writing about stuff, we are continually learning. One of our key focus areas is understanding the way people think, work and behave with regard to tricky and highly complex social issues (sometimes called ‘wicked problems'). This is the focus of a current psychology PhD one of the team is in the midst of.

NZ AoG Panel Approved

Stravaig have been members of the New Zealand 'All of Government' consulting panel run by MBIE for over 7 years. All participants have been vetted, and provided a series of government referees as part of the assessment and accreditation process.

Being on the panel means that your procurement teams have a simpler process to select qualified suppliers, with pre-vetting already done. Many government agencies have policies where they are required to source from the AoG panel, and our membership assists in this.

We care

We are passionate practitioners and experts in “human systems”.

We care deeply about our planet, people, and the challenges we face, and we invest much of our time on initiatives, and in areas that need our help and cannot afford big consultancy firms.

We love working with people who share our love of ideas, learning, humanising work, giving back and making a difference. We prioritise working with organisations focused on positive environmental impacts and outcomes.

Our entire team shares a passion for working with organisations with positive environmental and/or social outcomes, and we have all worked in these types of organisations ourselves, including health, justice, environment, conservation, education, social work and others. We understand these organisational and social systems, and want to apply our skills to assist them in “achieving more”.

One of the team is currently mid-way through a PhD focusing on how to engage with the world's “wicked problems” - the aim being to develop a toolkit, theory and approach on how to engage with these wicked problems and then “gift it away” to the global community of practitioners.
